A Trip To Borobudur Temple
Last year on May 3th 2012, I spent my holiday in Jogjakarta. I went to Borobudur Temple. My family and I went there early morning. We went to Borobudur Temple by private car. I had prepared everything before we went to Jogjakarta at 08.00 a.m. While we were driving, we could see some beautiful views of mountains, forests, and waterfalls. My family and I arrived at Borobudur Temple at 11.30 in the afternoon. There, I saw many tourists. Borobudur Temple was crowded in that holiday vacation. I could learn and practice speaking English with one of foreign tourists. His name was Glenn. He was very friendly. It was my first time to speak English with foreign tourist. After that, we could see the fields and woods around us with the beautiful mountain behind them. Furthermore, we could feel the fresh air which was difficult to be  found in Jogjakarta. It was the right place to calm our self and mind. We relaxed and felt calm and didn’t forget to take pictures together.
At six, we realized that it was getting to dark, we went back to Jakarta. We were very glad and enjoyed our trip together. It was very interesting vacation. We would never forget it.

Recount Text is one of the type of English text which retells events or experiences in the past. The purpose of Recount Text is to provide information or to entertain the reader. Recount Text Inside there are complications (Complications) as well as in Narrative Text.

Generic structure from recount texts :

• Orientation tells who was involved, what happened, where the events took place, and when it happened. ("Orientation" menceritakan siapa saja yang terlibat dalam cerita, apa yang terjadi, di mana tempat peristiwa terjadi, dan kapan terjadi peristiwanya)

• Events tell what happened and in what sequence. ("Event" menceritakan apa yang terjadi (lagi) dan menceritakan urutan ceritanya)

• Reorientation consists of optional-closure of events/ending. ("Reorientation" berisi penutup cerita / akhir cerita)

Tahun lalu pada 3 Mei 2012 , saya menghabiskan liburan saya di Jogjakarta . Aku pergi ke Candi Borobudur . Saya dan keluarga saya pergi ke sana pagi . Kami pergi ke Candi Borobudur dengan mobil pribadi . Saya telah mempersiapkan segala sesuatu sebelum kami pergi ke Jogjakarta pukul 08.00 WIB Sementara kita sedang berkendara , kita bisa melihat beberapa pemandangan indah pegunungan , hutan , dan air terjun . Saya dan keluarga saya tiba di Candi Borobudur pada pukul 11.30 sore . Di sana, saya melihat banyak wisatawan . Candi Borobudur ramai dalam liburan liburan . Aku bisa belajar dan berlatih berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris dengan salah satu turis asing . Namanya Glenn . Dia sangat ramah . Ini adalah pertama kalinya saya untuk berbicara bahasa Inggris dengan wisatawan asing . Setelah itu , kita bisa melihat ladang dan hutan di sekitar kita dengan gunung yang indah di belakang mereka . Selain itu , kita bisa merasakan udara segar yang sulit untuk ditemukan di Jogjakarta . Itu adalah tempat yang tepat untuk menenangkan diri dan pikiran kita . Kami santai dan merasa tenang dan tidak lupa untuk berfoto bersama .

Pada enam , kami menyadari bahwa itu sudah mulai gelap , kami kembali ke Jakarta . Kami sangat senang dan menikmati perjalanan kami bersama-sama . Itu liburan yang sangat menarik . Kami tidak akan pernah melupakannya .

The Lagend Of Rawa Pening

The Story From Central Java

Rawa Pening is a Lake which is one of the attractions of water in Semarang district Central Java. The lake is located in the lower valley between the mountains merbabu, Telomoyo and ungaran. According to a story this lake was formed from the events that have occurred in the area. This is the story of the Legend of Rawa Pening. 

Long ago, the valley between the mountains and the mountain Telomoyo Merbabu there is a village called Ngasem. 

In ancient times there lived a girl Ngasem Endang village called Savitri. The inhabitants of the village, no one knows if Endang Savitri had a husband, but she was pregnant. Shortly after she gave birth and I was very surprised because the population was not born a child, but a dragon. Strangely dragon can talk like human beings. The dragon has been appointed as the new K-ping.
